Molts museus i institucions incorporen aquest tipus de manifestacions als programes o creen departaments especialitzats. S\u00f3n els casos del Moma o la Tate o, m\u00e9s a prop nostre, la Fundaci\u00f3 Mir\u00f3, la Fundaci\u00f3 T\u00e0pies o Fabra i Coats, per citar-ne nom\u00e9s alguns. Per\u00f2 per qu\u00e8 aquest ressorgiment de la performance? Per qu\u00e8 museus i institucions les incorporen ara intensivament als seus programes? Quina \u00e9s la difer\u00e8ncia entre les actuals i les de les d\u00e8cades dels 60 i 70?<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00f2 em fa recordar que l&#8217;any 2000, quan seguia un curs a la Fundaci\u00f3 d&#8217;Appel a Amsterdam, vaig tenir l&#8217;oportunitat d&#8217;accedir al complet\u00edssim arxiu videogr\u00e0fic que el centre conservava. Al costat dels meus companys de promoci\u00f3 passem hores i hores visionant els treballs de Vito Acconci, Chris Burden o Ulay &amp; Marina Abramovic, entre d&#8217;altres. El mateix any, assistim a una performance que Abramovic realitzava a Amsterdam en qu\u00e8, tot i mantenir el mateix domini i control corporal que tres d\u00e8cades abans, presentava una difer\u00e8ncia notable: l&#8217;aspecte temporal. Si als 70, les seves performances transcorrien durant hores, l&#8217;any 2000 aquesta no excedia de 45 minuts, i tenia una estructura narrativa d&#8217;intensitat creixent. Probablement aix\u00f2 tenia a veure tant amb l&#8217;evoluci\u00f3 del discurs mateix de l&#8217;artista, com amb el fet que la proliferaci\u00f3 de material audiovisual ha anat canviant la nostra manera de percebre les coses.<\/p>\n<p>Una de les difer\u00e8ncies m\u00e9s notables entre les pr\u00e0ctiques performatives dels 60 i 70 i les actuals \u00e9s de car\u00e0cter contextual. Si a les primeres anava lligat a una cr\u00edtica a l&#8217;objecte est\u00e0tic i un q\u00fcestionament de la instituci\u00f3 i el mercat, actualment respon que el treball art\u00edstic acostuma a realitzar-se amb diferents mitjans, \u00e9s interdisciplinar, de col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 i la participaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;espectador resulta essencial. A aix\u00f2 cal afegir el paper rellevant de l&#8217;\u201cexperi\u00e8ncia\u201d en un present on tot \u00e9s accessible en qualsevol moment.<\/p>\n<p>Un altre aspecte significatiu \u00e9s la relaci\u00f3 que guarden aquestes pr\u00e0ctiques amb la documentaci\u00f3. Si en d\u00e8cades passades v\u00eddeos i fotografies no deixaven de ser un registre documental que nom\u00e9s anys m\u00e9s tard va tenir valor al mercat, els artistes actuals es relacionen amb la seva documentaci\u00f3 de maneres ben diferents: ja sigui \u201cobjectalitzant-la\u201d (Matthew Barney), considerant-la un material de documentaci\u00f3 i no produint edicions limitades (Xavier Le Roy) o nega.<\/p>\n<p>En realitat, la pr\u00e0ctica de la performance mai no ha deixat de ser present, entre altres raons, perqu\u00e8 all\u00f2 \u201cperformatiu\u201d \u00e9s, d&#8217;una manera o altra, un aspecte intr\u00ednsec en l&#8217;art contemporani, des de Christian Jankowski, fins a Dora Garc\u00eda o Joan Morey passant per Martin Creed, Francis Al\u00ffs o Roman Ond\u00e1k, sempre trobem o b\u00e9 un artista, que dirigeix \u200b\u200bo b\u00e9 un artista que dirigeix \u200b\u200bo b\u00e9 un artista que dirigeix que all\u00f2 que planteja necessita una acci\u00f3 que l&#8217;espectador ha de dur a terme.<\/p>\n<p>[Article publicat a Bonart, 2013]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vivim un auge de la performance.
