The artist may construct the piece.<br \/>\n&#8211; 2. The piece may be fabricated.<br \/>\n&#8211; 3. The piece need not be built.<br \/>\n&#8211; Each being equal and consistent with the intent of the artist the decision as to condition rests with the receiver upon the occasion of receivership.<\/p>\n<p>Fa un parell de d\u00e8cades es va iniciar la recuperaci\u00f3 i l&#8217;estudi per part dels museus de totes aquelles pr\u00e0ctiques que havien tingut lloc en els anys 60 i 70 i que, precisament en oposici\u00f3 al museu-instituci\u00f3-sistema de l&#8217;art van optar per unes estrat\u00e8gies que escapaven als l\u00edmits i els codis d&#8217;aquestes institucions. Esdeveniments, *performances, reunions, documents, \u00e0udios i v\u00eddeos van passar a convertir-se en els registres o la materialitzaci\u00f3 d&#8217;uns projectes que apostaven m\u00e9s per la identificaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;art i la vida, \u00e9s a dir, per l&#8217;aqu\u00ed i ara que per la seva perdurabilitat i muse\u00eftzaci\u00f3. En els \u00faltims vint anys, grans i petits museus de tot el m\u00f3n s&#8217;han encarregat de recuperar, estudiar i documentar tots aquests treballs, des d&#8217;Hans *Haacke, fins a *Vito *Acconci o Marina *Abramovic passant per tots els grups d&#8217;artistes conceptuals de Catalunya, els antics pa\u00efsos de l&#8217;Est o els diversos pa\u00efsos llatinoamericans.<\/p>\n<p>En paral\u00b7lel, alguns col\u00b7leccionistes van anar generant col\u00b7leccions de refer\u00e8ncia, com el matrimoni Herbert, a B\u00e8lgica, que van entendre el seu paper com el de prendre part activa en un moviment social i pol\u00edtic i van oferir el seu suport a artistes com Lawrence *Weiner, Robert *Barry o Ian Wilson, entre altres, o l&#8217;editor Guy *Schraenen, que va col\u00b7leccionar art entre els anys 60 i 80, sense oblidar-se de recollir tota la documentaci\u00f3 paral\u00b7lela (*posters, invitacions, fotos, films, etc) relacionats amb els treballs. Totes dues col\u00b7leccions han estat tamb\u00e9 mostrades extensament en diferents museus i han servit de refer\u00e8ncia i de model a altres col\u00b7leccions de fundaci\u00f3 m\u00e9s recent.<\/p>\n<p>El conceptual no sols s&#8217;ha recuperat sin\u00f3 que compta amb el reconeixement del mercat, com es confirmava en la recent edici\u00f3 de la fira d&#8217;art de Basilea celebrada fa nom\u00e9s unes setmanes i en la qual es podien trobar treballs d&#8217;artistes com Lawrence Weiner, Helena Almeida, Nancy Spero, Antoni Muntadas o de cineastes com Harun Farocki i Agn\u00e8s Varda. La recuperaci\u00f3 segueix i un bon exemple \u00e9s el dels primers treballs i documents de General Idea que A.A. *Bronson, ell \u00fanic dels integrants del grup que continua viu, est\u00e0 duent a terme.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f3n molts els artistes de les generacions m\u00e9s joves (i no tan joves) que han begut de les fonts del conceptual, dels seus continguts, actituds i\/o de les seves formes. Alguns d&#8217;aquests artistes, com Mario Garc\u00eda Torres no sols investiguen amb els seus treballs algunes inc\u00f2gnites relacionades amb obres conceptuals (l&#8217;Hotel One de Alighiero Boetti en Afganistan o el treball que Robert Barry va proposar als seus alumnes quan feia classe a Halifax) sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 comissarien exposicions amb artistes d&#8217;aquesta generaci\u00f3, com a &#8220;Objectes per a una estona d&#8217;in\u00e8rcia&#8221;, que va tenir lloc a principis d&#8217;enguany en la galeria Elba Ben\u00edtez de Madrid i que agrupava els treballs de David Askevold, Alighiero e Boetti, Luis Camnitzer, Barry Le Va i Francesc Torres. La declaraci\u00f3 de principis era clara: &#8220;La Hist\u00f2ria, malgrat la seva insist\u00e8ncia en el contrari, pertany al temps present. La Hist\u00f2ria sempre s&#8217;est\u00e0 forjant. \u00c9s un proc\u00e9s, no un resultat. La Hist\u00f2ria i l&#8217;escriptura de la Hist\u00f2ria s\u00f3n una i la mateixa cosa&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>La utilitzaci\u00f3 de diapositives i diaporames, de documents, els inventaris, els diagrames, la recerca de fets i situacions per a evidenciar coses o les *performances que es dilueixen en l&#8217;espai p\u00fablic &#8230; constitueixen un fil d&#8217;Ariadna (m\u00e9s el referit a les t\u00e8cniques de navegaci\u00f3 en les p\u00e0gines Web que al mitol\u00f2gic) que s&#8217;inicia en els 60 i els 70 i ens condueix directament a les performances de Dora Garc\u00eda o Tino Seghal i els seus interrogants sobre les relacions entre artista, obra i p\u00fablic, a la cerca de descampats o els inventaris de materials de Lara Almarcegui, als llistats d&#8217;Ignasi Aball\u00ed, als relats de Francis Al\u00ffs, a les relacions entre fets aparentment distants de Simon Starling, a les evid\u00e8ncies de Sean Snyder o als &#8220;displays&#8221; d&#8217;Erick Beltr\u00e1n.
