Contes choisis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>L&#8217;any 1996, Daura Garc\u00eda va realitzar una instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 titulada Perplexity, que va consistir a delimitar un espai d&#8217;una galeria d&#8217;art amb una cinta en la qual podia llegir-se la paraula \u201cperplexitat\u201d. D&#8217;aquesta manera tan senzilla (i en el cas dels treballs de Dora hi ha una relaci\u00f3 inversament proporcional entre la facilitat amb la qual poden descriure&#8217;s les seves obres i la seva complexitat conceptual), l&#8217;artista assenyalava els l\u00edmits en els quals es situa el seu treball: presentar la realitat com a m\u00faltiple i q\u00fcestionable i explorar la relaci\u00f3 entre artista, obra i p\u00fablic. En altres paraules, Daura assenyala, actua com una directora de cinema que conta hist\u00f2ries (o simplement les selecciona), desencadena una situaci\u00f3, ens situa en un escenari o ens fa part\u00edcips d&#8217;un joc les regles del qual s&#8217;assemblen molt a la realitat i per aix\u00f2 mateix ens permeten q\u00fcestionar-la.<\/p>\n<p>Contes Triats \u00e9s el t\u00edtol d&#8217;aquesta exposici\u00f3 que podria definir-se com una miniretrospectiva, perqu\u00e8 reuneix una selecci\u00f3 de treballs que inclouen el lapse de temps compr\u00e8s entre els anys 1991 i 2007. A causa del car\u00e0cter marcadament procesual de les obres de Dora Garc\u00eda, la presentaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquests treballs es realitza en un format que la pr\u00f2pia artista defineix com \u201cen mode off\u201d, \u00e9s a dir, mostrant els elements que formen part de les obres per\u00f2 d&#8217;una manera \u201cdesinstal\u00b7lada\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Contes Triats presenta un recorregut per set treballs: Contes Choisis (1991) \u00e9s una instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 presentada en la Fundaci\u00f3 De Appel a Amsterdam en la qual el retrat de Guy de Maupassant contraposat a dues enigm\u00e0tiques escultures defineixen un substrat narratiu i ficcional. Totes les Hist\u00f2ries (2001- ) \u00e9s un treball en proc\u00e9s l&#8217;ambici\u00f3 del qual \u00e9s la de reunir \u201ctotes les hist\u00f2ries del m\u00f3n. El lector que decideixi llegir-les en veu alta es converteix en performer de Totes Les Hist\u00f2ries i, quan hagi acabat, tots els homes i dones, tot el temps i tots els llocs, hauran passat pels seus llavis. La dificultat consisteix en el fet que gaireb\u00e9 cada dia noves hist\u00f2ries s&#8217;afegeixen a aquesta llista\u201d. L&#8217;Habitaci\u00f3 tancada consisteix en una habitaci\u00f3 que ha de romandre tancada. Quan alg\u00fa entra en aquesta habitaci\u00f3 aquesta desapareix i l&#8217;obra s&#8217;esvaeix. The Crowd \u00e9s una performance que parteix de la necessitat de crear expectatives i en la qual el p\u00fablic juga un paper essencial. The Prophets \u00e9s descrita d&#8217;aquesta manera per l&#8217;artista, \u201c[Els profetes]&#8230; cada dia entren en el museu i recullen les fotoc\u00f2pies amb les profecies que hi ha per a aquest dia i que jo havia enviat amb antelaci\u00f3. Durant la seg\u00fcent hora, van lliurant-les entre els visitants del museu i fent les tasques profetitzades i que vaig escriure espec\u00edficament per a ells en els papers que estan distribuint. Mai saben per endavant quins poden ser aquestes tasques, ni en la forma en qu\u00e8 es presentaran als visitants l&#8217;endem\u00e0. La tensi\u00f3 que generen aquestes profecies &#8220;pr\u00eat-a-porter&#8221; (&#8230;), la sospita que els successos que tenen lloc s\u00f3n en part una posada en escena, i l&#8217;amena\u00e7a constant d&#8217;una realitat incontrolable&#8230;&#8221;. The Beggar\u2019s Opera \u00e9s el projecte que Garc\u00eda va presentar en el Skulptur Projekte M\u00fcnster\u201907 i que va consistir en una s\u00e8rie de performance realitzades per un actor que interpreta a un captaire, Filch, inspirat en l&#8217;aprenent de captaire de l&#8217;\u00f2pera de John Gay, que al seu torn va inspirar a Bertolt Brecht en L&#8217;\u00d2pera de Tres Penics. Filch \u00e9s un personatge que es mou lliurement pels carrers de M\u00fcnster, prou marginal com per a poder dir el que pensa en tot moment. Les seves aventures, trobades i observacions eren anotats en el quadern de bit\u00e0cola www.thebeggarsopera.org aix\u00ed com una s\u00e8rie de mon\u00f2legs que van ser representats en el Metropolis Kino de M\u00fcnster i que apareixen ara recollits en una publicaci\u00f3. Finalment, C (Film comptat dues vegades), una proposta creada espec\u00edficament per al CASM, \u00e9s una projecci\u00f3 comentada de la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula Film (1964) de Beckett que es basa en la noci\u00f3 de cambra subjectiva. La projecci\u00f3 comentada tindr\u00e0 lloc tots els dimecres a les 19 hores a l&#8217;Auditori del CASM.<\/p>\n<p>Movent-se constantment entre les fronteres que separen ficci\u00f3 i realitat, les performances de Dora Garc\u00eda (performances amb actors que segueixen una s\u00e8rie d&#8217;instruccions) exploren els seus l\u00edmits, que no s\u00f3n uns altres que els l\u00edmits entre el real i la seva representaci\u00f3. Mitjan\u00e7ant la recerca de la construcci\u00f3 de ficcions, el treball de Dora Garc\u00eda ofereix una visi\u00f3 autoreflexiva del invididuo i del seu entorn, en el qual el reconeixement juga un paper essencial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cL&#8217;art \u00e9s per a tots per\u00f2 nom\u00e9s una elit ho sap\u201d, resa una de les seves \u201dfrases d&#8217;or\u201d, veritables statements o declaracions de principis amb les quals fa p\u00fablica la seva postura i amb les quals resulta f\u00e0cil identificar-se. \u201cLa difer\u00e8ncia entre ordinari i extraordinari est\u00e0 en aquesta coseta extra\u201d.
