En el cas present, les afinitats optatives tenen a veure amb l&#8217;intercanvi de punts de vista, visions de les coses, el gust per determinats artistes i la voluntat de crear projectes \u00fanics i l&#8217;elecci\u00f3 de companys de viatge concrets. Roser Figueras i Josep Inglada, art\u00edfexs de Cal Cego, una col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 d&#8217;art contemporani sense resid\u00e8ncia fixa per\u00f2 amb una aposta ferma per participar i col\u00b7laborar activament amb diferents agents i iniciatives art\u00edstiques, han fet una invitaci\u00f3 a \u00c1ngel i Clara Nieto, col\u00b7leccionistes amb seu a Madrid i Berl\u00edn i \u00fanics engendradors del projecte A Window a http:\/\/plataforma Berlinowindow. Artistes llatinoamericans, que fan projeccions en un antic contenidor d&#8217;enviament en espais p\u00fablics de Berl\u00edn. L&#8217;objectiu d&#8217;aquesta invitaci\u00f3 \u00e9s establir un di\u00e0leg entre els v\u00eddeos de les dues col\u00b7leccions.<\/p>\n<p>El di\u00e0leg entre obres es sintetitza en un &#8216;cara a cara&#8217; entre dues obres del 2003: Cowboy Inertia Creeps de Sergio Prego. V\u00eddeo | Color | So | 3&#8217;56&#8221;. Col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 \u00c1ngel i Clara Nieto, Madrid i Berl\u00edn, i Play Dead, Real Time (una altra manera) de Douglas Gordon. V\u00eddeo | DVD | Color | 21&#8217;55&#8221;. Col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 d&#8217;Art Contemporani Cal Cego, Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;obra de Sergio Prego (Sant Sebasti\u00e0, 1969) explora la noci\u00f3 d&#8217;escult\u00f2ric a trav\u00e9s de l&#8217;expansi\u00f3 del concepte d&#8217;escultura en l&#8217;espai i l&#8217;amplificaci\u00f3 de la relaci\u00f3 amb el cos. La performativitat juga un paper essencial en el seu discurs. A Cowboy Inertia Creeps, veiem l&#8217;artista arrossegant-se per les estructures urbanes de diferents ciutats. En aquest v\u00eddeo, Prego desafia les lleis de la f\u00edsica, igual que en treballs anteriors ha intentat alliberar el cos hum\u00e0 de tota mena de regles i restriccions.<\/p>\n<p>Una de les l\u00ednies de treball explorades per Douglas Gordon (Glasgow, 1966) situa el jo performatiu davant de la c\u00e0mera per evidenciar dicotomies i conflictes, que sovint deriven de les convencions. En el cas de Play Dead, Real Time (una altra manera) el protagonista \u00e9s un elefant indi entrenat, actuant a l&#8217;espai buit d&#8217;una galeria d&#8217;art: seguint les instruccions del seu entrenador s&#8217;estira a terra per fer de morta, una posici\u00f3 for\u00e7a aliena als h\u00e0bits i inclinacions naturals de l&#8217;animal.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s de ser d&#8217;artistes de la mateixa generaci\u00f3, i d&#8217;haver estat produ\u00efts el mateix any 2003, ambd\u00f3s v\u00eddeos comparteixen un element performatiu, una exploraci\u00f3 del cos que vol trencar les regles en relaci\u00f3 a l&#8217;espai en q\u00fcesti\u00f3, i un \u00fas t\u00e8cnic del mitj\u00e0 de v\u00eddeo que alhora explora i manipula el seu potencial: en el cas de Prego, \u00e9s la seq\u00fc\u00e8ncia d&#8217;imatges fixes la que crea el sentit de les accions i les direccions temporals de Gordon de manera que en comptes de mostrar un elefant caient a terra el presenta aixecant-se amb una agilitat notable.<\/p>\n<p>Afinitats electives. La trobada de dues col\u00b7leccions es projecta a Ca la Mar\u00eda del 28 de maig al 6 de juny, entre les 17.00 i les 20.00 hores, en el marc del Loop Festival.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00c9S ENLL\u00c0 DELS OBJECTES?
