Mitjan\u00e7ant projectes d&#8217;escala molt humana, l&#8217;artista planteja escenaris i situacions que permeten una relaci\u00f3 directa entre artista i espectador, aix\u00ed com el q\u00fcestinament de tots dos rols.<\/p>\n<p>Amb una formaci\u00f3 en arts esc\u00e8niques i visuals a l&#8217;Institut d&#8217;Arts UNESP de S\u00e3o Paulo, Carolina Bonfim (S\u00e3o Paulo, Brasil, 1982) es va instal\u00b7lar a Barcelona per seguir un m\u00e0ster de Producci\u00f3 i Investigaci\u00f3 Art\u00edstica de la Universitat de Barcelona. La constataci\u00f3 de les difer\u00e8ncies dels moviments corporals, especialment al ball, entre tots dos llocs, la va portar a una investigaci\u00f3 fruit de la qual s\u00f3n els treballs, Here, Please (2012) i Remake of movements in night clubs (2012). Al primer, reprodu\u00efa amb exactitud els moviments d&#8217;algunes coreografies relacionades amb la cultura pop, despr\u00e9s del seu estudi minuci\u00f3s i sistem\u00e0tic. Al segon, despr\u00e9s de l&#8217;observaci\u00f3 acurada dels moviments de ball al club Moog de Barcelona, \u200b\u200bl&#8217;artista els reprodu\u00efa mim\u00e8ticament com a manera per establir un di\u00e0leg amb altres persones.<\/p>\n<p>Tots dos projectes s\u00f3n antecedents directes de Balmes 88 (2014), una performance realitzada per l&#8217;artista als espais d&#8217;un local del n\u00famero 88 del carrer Balmes de Barcelona, \u200b\u200bque havia estat el club after del mateix nom i que s&#8217;estava transformant als espais que acolliria la galeria d&#8217;art Cyan. En aquests espais, encara en obres, durant quatre divendres dels mesos d&#8217;abril i maig, l&#8217;artista es va dedicar a ballar en solitud, alguns dels \u00e8xits que sens dubte van sonar durant l&#8217;anterior vida del local. L&#8217;acci\u00f3, que nom\u00e9s podia ser vista des del carrer, convertia els possibles espectadors en voyeurs. Com un acte de resist\u00e8ncia, Bonfim recuperava el passat de l\u201fespai i evidenciava com els canvis d\u201fusos no s\u00f3n sin\u00f3 el resultat de les transformacions urbanes i dels mecanismes de poder que les dicten i que, directament i indirectament, condicionen determinades formes d\u201fusos i comportaments.<\/p>\n<p>Les relacions interpersonals i el replantejament i les interfer\u00e8ncies entre els rols d&#8217;artista i p\u00fablic, aix\u00ed com la reformulaci\u00f3 de la noci\u00f3 de performance s\u00f3n constants en el treball de Carolina Bonfim. Un exemple destacat \u00e9s Cor 190, una performance per a un \u00fanic participant que es va presentar en el context de la convocat\u00f2ria Barcelona Producci\u00f3 2013 de La Capella. El n\u00famero 190 del t\u00edtol fa refer\u00e8ncia a la freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de pulsacions que marquen el llindar de l&#8217;atac card\u00edac. A Cor 190, Bonfim al\u00b7ludeix a la taquic\u00e0rdia que pot originar la tensi\u00f3 o la incertesa. La performance no \u00e9s realitzada per l&#8217;artista sin\u00f3 pel participant que decideix inscriure&#8217;s i obeir les instruccions que via SMS el van guiant per la Rambla de Barcelona fins a acabar en un pis del barri del Raval on ning\u00fa no l&#8217;espera. La disposici\u00f3 a assumir que el rol de p\u00fablic no ha de ser passiu ni c\u00f2mode, implica, com a espectador, l&#8217;acceptaci\u00f3 d&#8217;una transfer\u00e8ncia en el control del treball, l&#8217;obertura a l&#8217;inesperat, la submissi\u00f3 de seguir unes indicacions, d&#8217;entrar a l&#8217;espai de ficci\u00f3 d&#8217;un altre oa la possibilitat de ser un altre. En endinsar-se en un espai privat que \u00e9s d&#8217;un altre i en abs\u00e8ncia d&#8217;aquest, l&#8217;espectador es trobava amb algunes fotografies que li mostraven fent el recorregut que havia fet nom\u00e9s uns minuts abans, \u00e9s a dir, el confrontaven amb l&#8217;evid\u00e8ncia que havia estat observat, vigilat i controlat.
