Active Principles: Culture and Rights for Democratic Health

1st Plenary Session of the Public System of Visual Arts Facilities

Culture and Rights for Democratic Health

MACBA Convent Auditorium – June 30, 2026.

This event is structured around two interconnected themes.

The first explores the relationship between the visual arts and individual, social, and community health.

The second addresses cultural rights as inalienable rights for everyone.

Both dimensions converge on a shared conviction: culture acts as an active force against distress, individualistic withdrawal, and the rise of regressive trends.
